Have you ever wondered if God laughs at you? I do all of the time, because I'm always in His way!
Isn’t it funny when our plans are not Gods plans? We create this wonderful plan on how we think our lives should go, and God turns around and says, “let me show them how I work.” The Lord declares, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
I remember when I went to work overseas on a contract position. Let me say this upfront, that was never in my plans! Leave my young daughters and go to work in Kuwait! Who would have thought that would have been my path? Yep, you guessed right, living in the Middle East was definitely not in my plans, however, it was a part of God's plan.
I didn't see the big picture at the time, eventually I saw the picture. And there God was again saying, “Jacquie my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways trust me I got your back!” God reminded me that with Him all things are possible. For He specializes in the impossible. From time to time God will bring us to an ‘intersection’ in our life when an imminent change is obvious, when He is about to open a new ‘chapter’ in our adventure! I just think this is amazing how God orchestrates and navigates our lives! He knew before we were born all about us. He knew what family we would belong to, where we would live at the appointed time, how many children we would have, and the entire blueprint of our lives. He knew!
I have come to a place in life where I no longer try to navigate, I leave that part to my Creator!
